effronté shameless, fr. L. effrons, -
ontis, putting forth the forehead, i. e., barefaced,
shameless; ex + frons the forehead. See Front.]
Impudence or boldness in confronting or in transgressing the
bounds of duty or decorum; insulting presumptuousness; shameless
boldness; barefaced assurance.
