vernus vernal, ver spring; akin to Gr. &?;, Skr.
vasanta, Icel. vār, and E. Easter, east.]
1. Of or pertaining to the spring; appearing in the
spring; as, vernal bloom.
2. Fig.: Belonging to youth, the spring of
life.
