Rus*tic"ity (?), n. [L.
rusticitas: cf. F. rusticité.] The quality
or state of being rustic; rustic manners; rudeness; simplicity;
artlessness.
The sweetness and rusticity of a pastoral can
not be so well expressed in any other tongue as in the Greek, when
rightly mixed and qualified with the Doric dialect.
