[imp. & p. p. Reciprocated (-
kā`t&ebreve;d); p. pr. & vb. n.
Reciprocating.] [L. reciprocatus, p. p. of
reciprocare. See Reciprocal.] To move forward and
backward alternately; to recur in vicissitude; to act interchangeably;
to alternate.
