Quir"boil*ly` (kw&ibreve;r"boi*lē`),
n. [OE. cuir bouilli.] Leather softened
by boiling so as to take any required shape. Upon drying, it becomes
exceedingly hard, and hence was formerly used for armor. [Obs.]
