1. Given to quarreling; quarrelsome. [Obs.]

2. Apt to find fault; habitually complaining;
disposed to murmur; as, a querulous man or people.
Enmity can hardly be more annoying that
querulous, jealous, exacting fondness.

a querulous tone of voice.
