Definition of Pterabranchia
||Pter`o*bran"chi*a (?), n. pl. [NL.,
fr. Gr. &?; a wing + &?; &?;.] (Zoöl.) An order of
marine Bryozoa, having a bilobed lophophore and an axial cord. The
genus Rhabdopleura is the type. Called also Podostomata. See
Rhabdopleura.
