Pseudova (#). [NL. See Pseudo-, and
Ovum.] (Zoöl.) An egglike germ produced by the
agamic females of some insects and other animals, and by the
larvæ of certain insects. It is capable of development without
fertilization. See Illust. of
Pædogenesis.
