Pre*cur"sor (?), n. [L.
praecursor, fr. praecurrere to run before; prae
before + currere to run. See Course.] One who, or
that which, precedes an event, and indicates its approach; a
forerunner; a harbinger.

of all the storms and tempests of the soul.
