3. (Anat.) The cavity or socket of the skull in which the eye and its appendages are situated.

4. (Zoöl.) The skin which surrounds the eye of a bird.

• A circular or elliptical path of one object around another object: The Moon's orbit around the Earth takes nearly one month to complete.
  
• (anatomy) The bony cavity containing the eyeball, the eye socket
  
• To circle around another object: The Earth orbits the Sun.
