- (wjargon): A deliberately fictitious entry in an encyclopedia or dictionary, which is intended to be more or less quickly recognized as false by the reader. If expected to be easily identified it might be called an Easter egg in English (from computer games: a hidden surprise). Subtly hidden ones might be a method of branding the intellectual property so it can be recognized if copied.
