Le*pid"o*lite (l&esl;*p&ibreve;d"&osl;*līt; 277), n. [Gr. lepi`s -i`dos, a scale + -lite: cf. F. lépidolithe.] (Min.) A species of mica, of a lilac or rose-violet color, containing lithia. It usually occurs in masses consisting of small scales. See Mica.
