cyanic.] (Chem.) Designating an acid isomeric with
cyanic acid.
Isocyanic acid, an acid metameric with
cyanic acid, and resembling it in its salts. It is obtained as a
colorless, mobile, unstable liquid by the heating cyanuric acid.
Called technically carbimide.
