indignans, -antis, p. pr. of indignari to be
indignant, disdain. See Indign.] Affected with
indignation; wrathful; passionate; irate; feeling wrath, as when a
person is exasperated by unworthy or unjust treatment, by a mean
action, or by a degrading accusation.
