manere to remain: cf. F. immanent.] Remaining
within; inherent; indwelling; abiding; intrinsic; internal or
subjective; hence, limited in activity, agency, or effect, to the
subject or associated acts; -- opposed to emanant,
transitory, transitive, or objective.
