Definition of Hootchee
- Shelter tradionally used by soldiers (especially Australian) in the field that consists of a small plasic sheet that is normally suspended at waist height between two or more trees with cord (known as hootchie cord). Commonly khaki or camoflague in colour and with press studs at the edges to enable several to be joined.
