of iron, possession of domestic animals, agriculture, and artistic
skill and sentiment in manufacturing pottery, ornaments, etc.
The Hallstattian civilization flourished chiefly
in Carinthia, southern Germany, Switzerland, Bohemia, Silesia, Bosnia,
