Definition of Epizaotic

Ep`i*zo*öt"ic (?), a. [Cf. F. épizoötique.] 1. (Zoöl.) Of or pertaining to an epizoön.

2. (Geol.) Containing fossil remains; -- said of rocks, formations, mountains, and the like. [Obs.]

Epizoötic mountains are of secondary formation.
