Dis*robe" (?; see Dis-), v. t. &
i. [imp. & p. p. Disrobed (?);
p. pr. & vb. n. Disrobing.] To divest
of a robe; to undress; figuratively, to strip of covering; to divest
of that which clothes or decorates; as, autumn disrobes the
fields of verdure.
