birostris or Cephaloptera vampyrus) of the Gulf of Mexico
and Southern Atlantic coasts. Several other related species take the

large cephalopod, especially the very large species of Octopus
and Architeuthis. See Octopus.
(c) The gray whale of the Pacific coast. See
