Hind. kaw&amc;nch, koānch.] (Bot.)
A leguminous climbing plant of the genus Mucuna,
having crooked pods covered with sharp hairs, which stick to the
fingers, causing intolerable itching. The spiculæ are
sometimes used in medicine as a mechanical vermifuge.
