Intentional failure or forbearance to discover a fault or
wrongdoing; voluntary oversight; passive consent or
coöperation.
2. (Law) Corrupt or guilty assent
to wrongdoing, not involving actual participation in, but
knowledge of, and failure to prevent or oppose it.
