Chol"er (?), n. [OE. coler,
F. colère anger, L. cholera a bilious
complaint, fr. Gr. &?; cholera, fr. &?;, &?;, bile. See
Gall, and cf. Cholera.] 1. The
bile; -- formerly supposed to be the seat and cause of
irascibility. [Obs.]
