Char"lock (?), n. [AS.
cerlic; the latter part perh. fr. AS. leác
leek. Cf. Hemlock.] (Bot.) A cruciferous plant
(Brassica sinapistrum) with yellow flowers; wild mustard.
It is troublesome in grain fields. Called also chardock,
chardlock, chedlock, and kedlock.
