n.; pl. Cauliculi (-
lī). [L. cauliculus little stalk, dim. of
caulis.] (Arch.) In the Corinthian capital,
one of the eight stalks rising out of the lower leafage and
terminating in leaves which seem to support the volutes. See

Corinthian.
