Bunyon.

Prov. E. bunny a small swelling, fr. OF. bugne, It.
bugna, bugnone. See Bun.] (Med.) An
enlargement and inflammation of a small membranous sac (one of the
bursæ muscosæ), usually occurring on the first joint of
the great toe.
