{ Al`le*lu"ia, Al`le*lu"iah } (&?;), n. [L. alleluia, Gr. &?;, fr. Heb. hallēlū-yāh. See Hallelujah.] An exclamation signifying Praise ye Jehovah. Hence: A song of praise to God. See Hallelujah, the commoner form.
